Emerald Cove Necklace

ARTEFACT ORIGIN: Seaham Beach, UK

MATERIALS: Vintage drinks bottle, probably early 1900s, fine-silver bezel, sterling silver backplate, decoration and chain.

DIMENSIONS: Silver frame is 2cm at widest point. Glass is 1.2cm at widest point. 20" chain.

HISTORY: This vivid green pendant is crafted from a piece of a Victorian or Edwardian bottle, wine jar or chemists bottle. Decades in the sea has worn this piece down to a small, frosted shard. 

CRAFTSMANSHIP: The glass is custom bezel set within a framework of hand made and individually soldered silver pieces, like tangled seaweed and coastal driftwood.
