Teardrop Necklace
ONE OF A KIND - PHOTOGRAPHS SHOW THE ACTUAL PIECE YOU WILL RECEIVE
ARTEFACT ORIGIN: Whitley Bay Beach, North-East UK
MATERIALS: Frosted white sea-glass with textured sterling-silver frame and 18" chain.
DIMENSIONS: Frame is 2.8cm x 2.4cm at widest points.
HISTORY: This piece features a naturally tumbled piece of glass, shaped into a tactile teardrop shape by the tide.
Originating from utilitarian glass such as drinks bottles or tableware, years of exposure to the surf have left behind a velvety frosted finish, and almost luminous white translucency.
CRAFTSMANSHIP: The glass hangs from a hand textured frame of sterling silver. It moves delicately, with both the glass and the frame catching the light as the wearer moves.
One-of-a-kind artefact.
Silver under 7.78g (excluding detachable chains and stones) is not legally required to be hallmarked in the UK.
