MATERIALS: Victorian/Edwardian glass poison bottle shard, fine silver bezel, sterling silver backplate and chain.

DIMENSIONS: 

HISTORY: This vivid green pendant is crafted from a piece of a Victorian or Edwardian poison bottle. To prevent deadly mix-ups in gloomy, pre-electricity households, pharmacies embossed these containers with raised patterns and the words, 'NOT TO BE TAKEN'. This piece clearly shows a piece of the word 'TAKEN'.

Discarded over a century ago, this fragment has been shaped by the tide for decades.

CRAFTSMANSHIP: The vivid green glass is set in a custom made fine silver bezel. The backplate and handmade bail are sterling silver, as is the vintage style ball chain.
